May 07, 2012 · The latest polling in North Carolina suggests the measure to effectively ban same-sex marriage and civil unions will pass on Tuesday, with a Public Policy Polling study showing that 55% of people are planning to vote for the the amendment and only 39% against. "North Carolina's laws prohibiting same-sex marriage are unconstitutional as a matter of law," wrote Cogburn. "The issue before this court is neither a political issue nor a moral issue. It is a ...
