Excel 2019 offers a wide variety of keystrokes for moving the cell cursor to a new cell. When you use one of these keystrokes, the program automatically scrolls another part of the worksheet into view, if required by the size of your device’s screen and its resolution. After filtering rows of data on one sheet I want to be able to have only the filtered (visible) cells appear on another sheet. For example, I originally start with about 30 rows of data that is filtered down to 2 rows. Within those 2 rows there are 2 (visible) cells left that I want to reference and appear on another sheet.

An external reference (also called a link) is a reference to a cell or range on a worksheet in another Excel workbook, or a reference to a defined name in another workbook. You can refer to the specific cell range, a defined name for the cell range, or define a name for the external reference. and it worked perfectly to reference the worksheet name into a cell of my choice. Now, if only I could format this date to show up as Thursday, December 1, 2011 instead of 12-1-11... Any suggestions?
