Tvtropes.org The Dresden Files Role-Playing Game (DFRPG) is Evil Hat's Tabletop RPG adaptation of the popular Urban Fantasy series of novels. After the events of Small Favor, Billy Borden and the Alphas have set out to make a monster-slaying manual for the 21st Century with the help of Harry Dresden, framing it as a roleplaying game so that people who are unaware of the supernatural won't reject it outright. These games have always had a tendency to die, and I'm still hoping to RP out a certain character... 1. What game system are you running? Dresden Files RPG, using FATE. 2. What 'type' or variant of game will it be? What is the setting for the game? Should be a 'standard' type of RPG. Whatever your game, you spend a lot of time looking at your character sheet so it's worth having a good one. We here present a surprisingly complete set of character sheets for Pathfinder RPG and for Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 (see the small print below), covering hundreds of classes, along with familiars, spell books, NPCs and map templates.

Am a fan of the Dresden Files, so already know the characters. It was a Good mix of character studies and action, especially the last original story. It was nice having author intros on the writing background of each story too. \$\begingroup\$ Sidenote, could the players possibly be interested in a metahuman/superhero RPG and are just expressing thing through their build choices for Dresden Files? I do agree with the answers posted, especially sevensideddie's about those choices being powerful for combat and still flexible.
