The Doors didn't sell out on Ed Sullivan, and they still haven't sold out. Morrison was a really intelligent and decent guy, unfortunately with an alcohol abuse issue. Believe it or not there was a "Come on Buick light my fire" ad back in the day.

The Doors' song "Light My Fire" brings back a lot of memories. I remember lying in bed in my hootch in Southeast Asia in the late 60s listening to it on my little boom box. I really like this long version - such a great piece, and my favorite of all the Doors' music.
